讓考官眼前一亮的口語表達方法
曾有烤鴨反映在國外上語言課她的老師明確指定了一些表達是中國學生overuse的，然后叫他們盡量不要用。其中nowadays, colourfullife, with the development of, hot issue, moreover, more and more均榜上有名。
不用這些，用什么呢?
方法1：找一些替換的表達
譬如說nowadays，你可以說In the modern world, in today’s world, in modernsocieties等
譬如說More and more，你可以說a growing number of …, there has been an increase inthe number of …等
方法2：表達在句子中換地方或者換一下詞性或者句子結構

譬如說：With the development of technology, 你可以說because of technologicaladvances,
As technology has been changing rapidly,
譬如說：physically and mentally， 你可以說 has an impact on physical fitness andmental health, people may become physically ill and suffer mental healthproblems
方法3：思考一下這個表達的具體意思，將其具體化，可以用例子或者解釋的方法
譬如說：colourful life，說到底就是人生比較豐富，活動比較多，那么你就可以說 these activities can enrichtheir lives and offer them many options in free time.
譬如說：improve qualities，說到底素質就是一個人的品質，如何解決問題，品質比較高尚等，那么你可以說they will becomecompassionate and sociable people with a strong moral compass.
方法4：直接去掉某些表達，譬如說nowadays, hot issue, datable issue 等
這些表達很多學生覺得不寫沒東西寫，覺得好像缺了什么。主要原因是你們在學習中總是接觸類似的內容，你們是培訓產業化的犧牲品。不管換多少個機構，換多少個老師，最后學的東西都差不多，因此很多同學鍛煉出一種“中國人的英文語感”。
從今天開始，這些表達全部不用，過一段時間，你就會發現了，其實沒有這些表達，作文一樣寫，根本就沒什么不同。
雅思口語備考通用武器便是——經典句型。語法知識告訴我們，英語中的三大從句各有用途。定語從句起修飾或包裝的作用;名詞性從句提供信息;狀語從句補充說明，增加額外信息量。那么這三種從句是否也可以用在口語中并且發揮同樣的用途呢?下面就從語法角度來感受英語從句在應對雅思口語考試三部分話題時的巨大威力。
定語從句經典系列
①(名詞或代詞) is the kind of (person/place/thing…) who (which/that) is…
②(名詞或代詞) is a (person/ place…) who (which) gives you the impression of being…
③(名詞或代詞)is one of the most (形容詞詞) (名詞) I have ever seen/met/known.
④(地點名稱) is a place where you can do sth.
⑤(時間名詞) is a day (occasion/the time) when you do sth.
實例分析
原句 套用句型后
He is truly helpful. a. He is the kind of guy who is truly helpful.
b. He always gives others the impression of being someone who is truly helpful.

說明：雅思口語話題頻繁涉及人物，地點，物品，事件四大類，上表中的原句是在回答此類問題時多數考生使用的句型。其缺陷是過于簡短，一不能體現語法優勢，二不能湊字數爭取時間。而套用句型后的表達效果就明顯不一樣了。可見，定語從句的使用在口語中可以起到“包裝”作用。
