一、關(guān)于consumer的爭(zhēng)論
許多同學(xué)都說(shuō)在寫(xiě)作的時(shí)候如果要提到"客戶(hù)"這個(gè)詞，勢(shì)必要使用consumer。其理由中的邏輯如下：首先，consumer這個(gè)詞常常在真題閱讀中出現(xiàn)；而且在考研的圈子里頭大家都說(shuō)如果你在寫(xiě)作中能夠使用真題閱讀中出現(xiàn)過(guò)的單詞就一定給高分。
看似嚴(yán)密的邏輯其實(shí)有著很大的漏洞。如果按照這個(gè)邏輯推導(dǎo)，那么諸如a,the,one這樣的簡(jiǎn)單詞匯不也在閱讀真題里比比皆是么?難道用了這樣的幾個(gè)詞也能夠讓你獲得高分?顯然這么思考是站不住腳的，所以我們需要真正理性對(duì)待這個(gè)詞的替換問(wèn)題。
那么問(wèn)題又來(lái)了，備選項(xiàng)中存在client,purchaser和shopper（另外customer在重復(fù)頻度上已屬寫(xiě)作中的垃圾詞匯，遂在此不予探討）這幾個(gè)詞當(dāng)中，到底誰(shuí)是最佳人選。很多同學(xué)覺(jué)得purchaser是個(gè)十分高大上的詞匯，于是很多同學(xué)都選了這個(gè)。但是老師們?cè)谂淖魑牡腵過(guò)程中發(fā)現(xiàn)，相當(dāng)多的同學(xué)都喜歡使用這個(gè)詞，想必大家都認(rèn)為purchase本身就是個(gè)檔次較高的詞，那么它的派生詞也一定差不到哪里去。
這個(gè)問(wèn)題巧就巧在大家都會(huì)這么想，有點(diǎn)類(lèi)似于博弈論，大家都覺(jué)得可能的選項(xiàng)最終成為最不可能的一個(gè)。而大家覺(jué)得最不起眼的shopper卻絕對(duì)占到了便宜，成為了這類(lèi)替換詞中的首選。因此建議大家能夠使用shopper一詞，在替換中一定能夠起到非常良好的效果。
二、Very的兄弟們
這個(gè)詞從我們開(kāi)始學(xué)英語(yǔ)的時(shí)候就存在了，屬于我們的單詞量中元老級(jí)成員。但是在寫(xiě)作中如果你用到了它，只能顯示你的詞匯量是多么地貧乏。
于是我們給出的替換詞是exceedingly和extremely.許多同學(xué)欣然接受，但是有的同學(xué)對(duì)此還是表示了擔(dān)憂(yōu)，因?yàn)樗麄冇X(jué)得這兩個(gè)詞指稱(chēng)的含義已經(jīng)遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)超越了表達(dá)"非常"的概念，說(shuō)起來(lái)也不無(wú)道理，畢竟前者直譯為"過(guò)度地"而后者直譯為"極端地"。
但殊不知在閱卷人忙碌的掃眼中，他們往往來(lái)不及去斟酌這個(gè)層面的事情，更何況這樣替換本來(lái)就有其本身的合理性，即他們兩兩之間的意義是有交集的。不過(guò)如果你還是不放心，我們還可以使用pretty,rather,quite和fairly。
其中要注意這里的pretty并非形容詞"漂亮、可愛(ài)"的意思，而僅僅是一個(gè)程度副詞，其用法和功能與very高度一致，因此大家也可以在寫(xiě)作練習(xí)中盡量多次、有意使用這個(gè)詞，一旦練熟了就不會(huì)覺(jué)得有什么問(wèn)題了。

英語(yǔ)六級(jí)作文中，需要做到以下三點(diǎn)，即清晰，準(zhǔn)確，簡(jiǎn)潔，俗稱(chēng)“三大法則”。
法則一：清晰
文章的清晰體現(xiàn)在讀者能夠很容易理解作者講述的內(nèi)容。為保證所寫(xiě)文章清晰明了，寫(xiě)作時(shí)有兩點(diǎn)一定要加以注意：
一是越確切具體越好。在這一方面，作者首先應(yīng)明確了解自己所要傳達(dá)的信息、讀者的范圍及特點(diǎn)，然后再選擇相關(guān)信息，采用某種文體格式傳遞給讀者。也就是說(shuō)，寫(xiě)作必須要以特定讀者為對(duì)象，以讓讀者能夠明確接受作者所傳遞的信息為宗旨。盡量以客觀陳述為主，少主觀臆測(cè)推斷；盡量明確無(wú)誤表達(dá)，少模棱兩可評(píng)論，這是使文章清晰確切的寫(xiě)作準(zhǔn)則。
二是組織結(jié)構(gòu)富有邏輯性。文章結(jié)構(gòu)富邏輯性會(huì)讓讀者很輕松地讀懂作者要表達(dá)的思想內(nèi)容。文章的這種邏輯性可以通過(guò)采用從一般到具體、從“全景”到細(xì)節(jié)、從問(wèn)題的定義到分析再到提出解決方案等多種方式來(lái)體現(xiàn)。
法則二：準(zhǔn)確
要使文章語(yǔ)義表達(dá)準(zhǔn)確，首先要盡量不要在學(xué)術(shù)文章中出現(xiàn)“大概、也許”之類(lèi)模棱兩可的詞語(yǔ)，避免出現(xiàn)容易讓人困惑和誤解的詞語(yǔ)和表達(dá)法；其次，要盡量避免使用那些有多種含義的詞語(yǔ)和表達(dá)法。例如：Singapore is a fine country這句話(huà)中的fine一詞有多種含義，如“好的、細(xì)小的、罰款”等。日常生活中這樣使用沒(méi)有問(wèn)題，但在寫(xiě)作時(shí)一定要避免使用這種容易產(chǎn)生歧義的多義詞。
法則三：簡(jiǎn)潔
直截了當(dāng)、切中要點(diǎn)是保證文章簡(jiǎn)潔的最好寫(xiě)作形式。與中文寫(xiě)作相比，英文寫(xiě)作非常強(qiáng)調(diào)直奔主題、簡(jiǎn)單明快的寫(xiě)作風(fēng)格。例如，在寫(xiě)作一個(gè)段落時(shí)，常常將概括段落主要內(nèi)容的主題句（topic sentence）作為段落的首句，以便讓讀者迅速明確本段要講述的內(nèi)容。另外，寫(xiě)作時(shí)盡量將每個(gè)句子寫(xiě)得簡(jiǎn)短一些，少用或不用冗長(zhǎng)的復(fù)合句。切記：短小精練的句子表達(dá)的意思才強(qiáng)而有力。

Some people favor postponing the retirement age. In their eyes, it is this policy that enables the aging society to build up enough work-force. As a matter of fact, people in mounting numbers have come to realize this problem in an aging society. Even so, others hold a different view that postponing retirement age carries some risks. This policy can bring old people stress, but cannot arouse their enthusiasm for work, and cannot help them to enjoy their retirement pension.
I am convinced that we should balance old people interest and this aging society.
