　　今天，終于盼到競選運動會了，我已經受過去年的教訓了。

　　Today, I'm finally looking forward to the election games. I've learned the lessons of last year.

　　去年，我報了400米，結果跑了個第五名，沒有被選為比賽選手，只能呆呆地看著別人比賽，那有多傷心啊！不過，我發現我的.60米還不錯，今年我就報了60米。另外，我還報了跳遠。因為，跆拳道教練常常讓我們練習跳遠。我也跳得很好。希望自己能入選，為班級爭光。

　　Last year, I reported 400 meters and finished fifth in the race. I was not selected as a contestant. I could only watch others' competition. How sad that was! However, I found that my 60m is not bad. This year, I reported 60m. In addition, I also reported a long jump. Because Taekwondo coaches often let us practice long jump. I can dance well, too. I hope I can be selected to win honor for the class.

　　We have a sports meeting last term. It has last for a day. I think it’s funny, just like a game.

　　First is running. And the other part is jumping. The meeting is very exciting. I watched the running match, but I didn’t watch the jumping match. What a pity!

　　Ha-ha, I ran with my classmate then. Because I want to cheer them on. But always they ran faster than me long. So I had to try my best to catch them up. It’s a hard work, I think.

　　The match is very fierce. The players are powerful. Who is the best? We guess. All of us hope the winner is our class. Finally, the best will get congratulations. And others also will get comfort and support.

　　Oh, I am forget something. Before the match beginning, it is warmth and fragrance doubled and redoubled, all of the pupil and teacher will give ther best wishes to the players in their class and also the other classes. They are kind people. And the match is the best way to make people happier, stronger, and also make them become more friendly.

　　I think sports meeting is a good thing, isn’t it?

　　Good morning! I am Oscar, the spokesman of the Students’ Union. On behalf of the Students’ Union, the main organizer of today’s sports meeting, I welcome you all to the beautiful stadium. After two months’ preparation, our annual sports meeting is held on schedule.

　　Thanks to the support and help from our school leaders and teachers. Though they have many school responsibilities, they have taken time off to take part in our sports activities. Let’s give them a big hand. Through sports, we can not only develop our physical prowess, but also promote social and emotional skills, and even intellectual skills, which will matter in our future lives substantially.
