　　一天下午，小明和小紅兩人，正高高興興地走在放學的路上。

　　One afternoon, Xiao Ming and Xiao Hong were walking happily on their way to school.

　　走著走著，兩個小玩伴兒突然發現前方不遠處，有一大堆黑乎乎的東西。好奇心強的小明摸著腦瓜兒，問道：“那是啥呀？堆在那兒多難看呀！”“走，我們去看看吧！”小紅干脆地說。跑過去一看原來是一個垃圾箱，旁邊積滿了垃圾。小紅驚奇地問：“這是怎么回事，垃圾怎么都跑出來了？”“肯定是人們隨手一扔，懶得再往前走一步把垃圾扔到垃圾箱。讓我們來把它清理干凈吧！”小明不假思索的答道。小紅盯著那一堆垃圾，說：“好！”他倆說干就干。小紅用手把垃圾弄到垃圾箱里，她說：“小明，你怎么不干呀，在一旁發什么呆呀？”小明在一旁想：干這些還不夠，我要讓人們知道亂扔垃圾是不文明的'。小明立刻從書包里拿出紙和毛筆，在紙上寫了“只差一步文明”。然后拿來膠水把紙貼在了垃圾箱上。小紅看到了，伸出大拇指直夸他聰明。

　　小明說：“嗯這個辦法有沒有用呢？”小紅說：“那我們躲到對面的樹叢里，看看效果吧！”小明利索地回答：“OK！”他們躲到了樹叢里，目不轉睛地盯著垃圾桶。不一會兒，就有一位大叔走了過來。他觀察了四周無人，正準備隨手一丟，可是看到了小明的標語后，便自覺地把垃圾扔進了垃圾箱。
